Luca, is a typical toddler boy; high-energy, social, has no concept of the phrase "Okay, one more time", loves to throw blocks even when his mommy reminds him that is not something "we" do (and then she silently laughs to herself, "I mean it is something we do, but we're trying to break him of that habit.)
But once Luca gets within a few feet of his baby sister, he seems to let go of his rambunctious tendencies + starts to use his "big boy nose" to nuzzle her gently, or hold her hand. He seems to have an understanding that he needs to be tender with her. Who knows if it will last, but it was fun for me to watch and document the juxtaposition of this all-boy's personality; at one moment his asking his dad to flip him upside down for the 100th time and squealing at the top of his lungs, + at the next he is whispering "Are you tired, sweet baby?" into his newborn sister's fuzzy ears.
