The last time I was at Immaculata University was for my baccalaureate ceremony in high school. I don't remember anything except one of the elderly priests keeling over during the ceremony & my grandmother having to excuse herself from laughing so hard. I really love my family. Rachel & Joe are so excited to have their wedding reception here at Immaculata University. During our initial meeting, they spouting off a dozen or more locations where they wanted pictures on their big day. Their pride & excitement for Immaculata was palpable, so I suggested we do their engagement session there to be sure they got in all the locations they wanted. Joe used to be a tour guide for the college, so he was extremely valuable to have along that day. We started off at the Grotto & eventually worked our way around the campus to the very classroom where Rachel & Joe first met. Afte some schmoozing on the security guard, Joe & Rachel got us into the building where they first met in class. They both remembered the room number & exactly where they sat at the start of the class when they met (how flippin' darling?).
As we walked from location to location around the campus, Joe & Rachel often waved or stopped to talk to a professor or clergy member. The two of them seem to find much comfort and joy in their close-knit community at Immaculata and I couldn't help but wish I was a part of it while touring the campus. I can't wait to photograph their wedding in June and return to their beautiful Alma mater; the gorgeous place where they met as underclassmen just a few years ago.
