Lindsay & Mike // Married at the Barn on Bridge in Collegeville

Lindsay & Mike's wedding day threatened rain. In fact, it threatened rain up until the second their outdoor ceremony started at the Barn on Bridge. The P.A system blared the first bar of "Bittersweet Symphony" as Lindsay, escorted by both parents, slowly made her grand entrance into the ceremony site. Mike's eyes widened and he couldn't contain his smile. The skies opened up and poured, pounding rain on the crisp white tent. Mike and Lindsay kept a steady gaze toward each other as she came toward him to say their vows in front of family & friends who had come from all over the country to celebrate this union. Out of the entire day, this moment stands out to me the most. I got goosebumps as that music started (call me a child of the 90's, I guess) and it was the exactly feeling everyone is supposed to feel before this ceremony begins. Mike & Lindsay aren't from the area. In fact, they have very few friends in the area, and (if memory serves me correctly) no relatives. But, they wanted their day to be as fun and relaxing as possible. So, they told their entire family to come to The Barn on Bridge in Collegeville and be a part of the happiest day of their lives. I was honored to be there as theses families came together to celebrate. Thank you to Anna for your extra set of eyes that day.
