This wedding came at the perfect time for me. Just one day after my Grandmother's passing, I was feeling a bit blue the morning I ventured out to photograph Mike & Lyndsay's wedding. What I would find out was that there was no better family for me to spend that day with. They are kind, fun-loving, and were so sweet expressing their condolences. For them to turn their attention to me, a vendor, on this happy occasion says a lot about who they are and what they're about. It's no wonder this wedding remains one of my top top favorites of the season.
One of my favorite things about photographing a wedding is seeing two families come together in celebration. The Pio/Divis family lines are blurred already; they are all one big giant fun HAPPY family. It was just the kind of energy I needed that day & they welcomed me in with warm, open arms and big smiles. Thank you all so much for taking my mind off my heartache that day.
As always, thank you to Anna for being the best second shooter around.
